Damp Proof Membrane Polythene Sheeting (DPM) Multi-folded Polythene Roll
The foot print of a building must be protected from ground water seeping up into the fabric of the structure. For simple buildings, this footprint can be protected by fitting a damp proof membrane across the slab of concrete, which is then connected to a damp proof course installed within the walls.
Damp Proof membranes are required to create a barrier to moisture in concrete floors and often also as a gas control membrane against radon.
